Back for another week in pictures. You’ll notice I’m short a few photos this week compared to normal. It’s been a bit of an odd week with some fairly big stuff happening in our lives which has kept us pretty distracted, hence less photos for the week. It’s resulted in a bit of a flat week for us, but we’re hoping to be able to move on and enjoy the rest of our weekend (which has been a haven of relaxation and enjoying our time at home thus far) and start next week in a better headspace. Hopefully I’ll have some more photos for you too!!
Anyway, on to better things!!
These two. Oh my goodness, my heart just melts. Our puppy is so gorgeous and makes us both smile! She has been a bit naughty this week and has started digging along the fence into our neighbours yard. Side note: how super Aussie does my husband look? Australian cricket shirt, shorts, no shoes, and a barbecue apron on!
As I mentioned in my Five things I’m loving this Friday, I had Thursday off work. Stu also had Thursday off work but had to go run some errands in the morning. He came back around lunchtime with this delicious treat for me! I do love a chocolate croissant (or pain au chocolat) and I’m lucky to have such a lovely husband who will procure them for me without prompting!
We’ve got some beautiful new growth coming through on our roses after being brutally harsh with our pruning a few weeks ago. We have so many roses in our front yard – these ones are trellised to the post on the front deck – and I love seeing them bloom in spring and summer. I always get excited when they started growing a lot because I’m looking forward to seeing the beautiful flowers.
I had these beautiful birds perch themselves outside my window at work. I usually have pigeons on those railings so these rosellas were a lovely change and they just made me smile!
I hope you’re having a great weekend! Have you been doing anything fun?
