This week was so busy, I am so thankful it is the weekend (and a long weekend at that)!
My new iPhone came!! I am so in love with it. I got the iPhone 6 Plus in gold and it is just beautiful. When I hold an iPhone 5 now it feels so tiny. The first thing people say when they see it is ‘It’s so big!’ closely followed by ‘Have you bent it yet?’. For everyone’s peace of mind, no I haven’t bent it. I don’t tend to wear clothes with pockets so I end up carrying it or putting it in my handbag so hopefully it will stay perfectly straight!
Spring has truly sprung at our house. It takes an extra couple of weeks for all the flowers to fully come out because spring in Canberra is still a bit chilly. The garden is looking so beautiful and I’m looking forward to the next two days laying in the sun and enjoying it!
We had an exhibition launch at work this week (the Waterhouse Natural Science Art Prize) so I worked late to help out and provide some logistical (and social media) support for my boss. The launch went so well and it was set up so beautifully – these flowers were just incredible. You can check out photos from the launch here (including one of me!!).
If you’re in Canberra make sure you go check it out, the Waterhouse is one of our most popular exhibitions every year. The works are just beautiful and there is lots of really impressive and meaningful art.
I headed to Sydney this weekend to catch up with some friends. I managed to fit a lot into my 26 hours in Sydney! I had lunch with a friend, visited my lovely cousin and her gorgeous baby, had dinner with three friends (and the most amazing frozen strawberry margaritas ever!) and then brunch (at Bondi Hardware, which was so cool!) with a friend from school who I haven’t seen in years! It was such a lovely weekend, and was the kind of weekend where I didn’t take many photos because I was too busy enjoying the company! That is always the mark of truly great company!!
Did you get up to anything exciting this weekend?
