Back with another week in pictures, although this one is actually a fortnight in pictures!! I didn’t share my pictures last weekend as it was our wedding anniversary weekend and I was trying to have a bit more of an offline weekend than usual!
We’ve had two long weekends and are now back into the usual routine of life. The next public holidays we get are Christmas holidays which seems so far away but I know will creep up on us so quickly!
Anyway, onto my fortnight in pictures!
It was our one year wedding anniversary last weekend! We went out for dinner at Grazing (the place where we had our wedding reception) and just relaxed at home, it was a great way to spend our weekend! You can check out my recap of our wedding here (Part One) and here (Part Two).
This is the beautiful watercolour painting Stu bought me for our anniversary (first year is paper). It’s a painting of Floriade, which is one of our early dates and it was painted the year we first went!!
We planted some veggies in our veggie garden in the backyard. Lots of tomatoes, zucchinis and herbs! I love our veggie garden, it’s so nice to have and actually saves a fair bit of money. Plus I love being able to use our fresh home-grown veggies and herbs in my cooking!
It’s daylight savings in NSW now which means beautiful, long days with glorious light in the evenings! I love the early hours of the evening in our garden, when the ‘golden hour’ light just makes all the flowers look amazing.
We got to see the ‘blood moon’ this week. It was pretty cloudy early in the evening so we thought we might not get to see it at all but the clouds parted in time for us to get a really clear view! It is really hard to take a photo of the moon with your iPhone!!
Hope you’ve had a good week and have been enjoying your weekend!
