Marsala didn’t immediately win me over as ‘Colour of the Year’, especially compared with the beautiful Radiant Orchid of 2014. I’m slowly coming around to Marsala but if you need little bit of convincing too, I’ve come up with a collection of items to help ease into a Marsala coloured 2015 in your makeup bag, wardrobe, and home. It was a bit too brown for my liking initially. Chantelle from Fat Mum Slim described it as the colour kids make when they mix all of the paint colours together. Pantone on the other hand describes it by saying “much like the fortified wine that gives Marsala its name, this tasteful hue embodies the satisfying richness of a fulfilling meal while its grounding red-brown roots emanate a sophisticated, natural earthiness”.

But I digress.
I will admit that it’s a lovely earthy colour and I think it has a lot of potential, but lets have a look at how you can incorporate some Marsala in your life in 2015 (other than stocking up on Marsala wine!).
