It can be hard to find a nice, pretty dress to wear for your baby shower. And while you don’t necessarily want to spend money on a dress that you might not be able to wear for much longer, you’ll definitely want to look and feel gorgeous on the day of your baby shower.
My own baby shower is coming up next month so I thought I would pull together some ideas for dresses you could wear to your baby shower.
This navy dress from ASOS is really cute and is a great option if you’re not a fan of bright colours but don’t want to wear black. The tie above the waist is also really good for emphasising your bump and stopping the dress from looking ill-fitting without having to worry about sizing as much.
This floral dress from Queen Bee Maternity is so pretty and a great option if you don’t know if you’re having a boy or a girl. It would also be a great option for a gender reveal party with its gorgeous blue and pink flowers. I love that the sash is removable so if you don’t want to wear it you have the option of removing it. This is the dress I’m planning on wearing to my own baby shower.
This printed dress from Pea in a Pod is a great option if you’re after something a bit more modern. The colours in this print are just beautiful. This dress would also look amazing with black tights for winter.
This fuchsia dress from Queen Bee Maternity is perfect if you’re having a little girl, and it’s the same dress that Kate Middleton wore for her first official photos with Prince George. The wrap detail at the front is really flattering but it’s flowy enough for you to feel comfortable in if you’re not feeling like emphasising the bump too much.
If you’d rather stick to a monochrome palette, this black and white dress from ASOS is just gorgeous. I love that it’s a body-con style which is really flattering when you’re pregnant, with a beautiful lace overlay.
If you’re a bit more of a print girl, this maxi dress from Pea in a Pod is beautiful. It’s also designed with nursing access in mind so you can wear it somewhere special once bubba is here if you’re planning on breastfeeding.
I also love this ASOS animal print dress for a print option. The colours are really beautiful and the print is enough without being over the top. I actually bought this dress because I loved the print so much. You can check out my outfit post from yesterday over on Instagram to see what it looks like on.
This pretty lace dress from Queen Bee Maternity is a great option if you’re more of a girly girl and love your lace. It would be really easy to accessorise this with a gorgeous necklace and a belt if you want to add a pop of colour.
I hope you find some inspiring options from the dresses I’ve picked out!
