After a little break, I’m back into my ’10 on 10′ photo link up, where I join up with some other lovely bloggers to share our ’10 on 10′ – 10 pictures on the 10th that tells the story of a day in our life. It’s a big linky loop of love so make sure you check out the link to the next blog at the bottom of my post and make your way around the loop to check out the 10 on 10 from my bloggy friends.
This is such a fun way to keep a photographic record of different stages of our lives (especially now with Gracie changing practically by the minute!) and a little peek into the lives of some other bloggers, which deep down we all love!
Today I’m sharing some scenes from our Sunday. I’ve tried not to spam you with too many photos of Grace (photos of her take up most of the recent photos on my camera roll!) but my little cutie definitely features quite heavily in my day, especially as my days kind of revolve around her now!
Sunday was a pretty lazy day for us. Stu has recently started playing cricket again (just in a pub competition so it’s fairly casual) and he had a home game last weekend so Grace and I wandered down to the oval to watch the first half of the match.
I’m getting a better handle on this whole dressing to breastfeed thing. A cute baby is a great distraction from my outfit though! (Wearing Seraphine Maternity jeans and Jeanswest top for any that are curious).
Grace loves the pram so had a nice little sleep as I was walking and while we were at the ground (not as much as I would have liked though!). I love how she falls asleep with her arms up in the air like this. It’s hilarious.
It was fun watching the cricket. My brother in law is also in the team (and also lives in Bungendore) so my mother-in-law, sister-in-law, niece and nephew were also at the oval to watch. We only stayed for the first half (and watched Stu bowl!) because Grace was a bit unsettled and I wanted to get her home to try and get a solid nap out of her.
Speaking of roses, check out our garden! It’s looking so nice, such a good year for roses.
And this is our very first ‘Grace’ rose! My mother-in-law and sister-in-law bought us a ‘Grace’ rose plant when we brought our Gracie home from the hospital and it now looks beautiful in our garden. It’s got lots of buds on it so I’m looking forward to more of these beautiful roses.
I took Grace’s ‘9 week’ photo on Sunday because she had a bad sleeping day on Saturday (when she was actually 9 weeks). Trying to get a photo of her is so funny, especially when she moves around a lot. I end up with lots of blurry limbs like this one!
Please make sure you check out the next awesome blogger in our little 10 on 10 link up of love (totally not what it’s called but I’m going with it) – pop over to Mum of Five Girls to see the lovely Veronica’s 10 on 10.
Today I’m linking up with Essentially Jess for #IBOT (I blog on Tuesdays)
